The Bauerfeind GenuTrain® active support helps relieve pain by providing therapeutic pressure of support around but, not on the kneecap, to the soft tissues around the knee. The two Hoffa pads (the two nubs on the lower edge of the pad) exert pressure on the infrapatellar fat pad increasing relief for the kneecap and enhancing the pain-relieving effect.
